I was recently asked if I could be interviewed for Ugly Duck magazine about my career as a stylist, and of course me being so passionate about my career (as well as a chatterbox) just couldn't refuse.
Overall the interview went well and I was super excited to see the print version, although when I finally did see the final product I was a bit disappointed as
some of the things that I said during the interview were not exactly written the way I said it and quite frankly made me sound like a complete idiot.
" I love the Colour blocking by Gucci for SS11 and I adore Jill Sanders Neon creations"
which was then translate into:
"I like how Gucci have a colour blocking section and love the neon's that Jill Sander has created"
Now as grateful as I am for the interview and the support, as well as enjoying being interviewed, I can't help but emphasise how important
it is to perfect a transcription!
